National Solar Schools ProgramThe NSSP (National Solar Schools Program), administered by the Australia Government's Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, has now been launched and will remain open until 30 June 2015. NSSP provides grants of up to $50,000.00 to Primary and Secondary Schools for a range of eligible items including:
NSSP is designed to assist Australian schools in taking practical action to address issues relating to climate change. It will also facilitate increased learning and measurability of processes designed to reduce a school's environmental footprint. To be eligible for the funding, schools must be State Registered Primary or Secondary Schools and not be listed for closure within the next 12 months.
