Ipswich City CouncilRecycled Water Management PlansThe recycled water management system adopted by Council requires the preparation of separate Supply and Use Management Plans, in accordance with the Queensland Water Recycling Guidelines. A Recycled Water Management Plan documents a risk management based system for managing the safe use of recycled water. Ipswich Water, in accordance with the Queensland Water Recycling Guidelines, requires all recycled water users to develop a Recycled Water (Use) Management Plan. Council itself has developed a Recycled Water (Supply) Management Plan encompassing all supplier infrastructure and activities associated with the supply of our recycled water product. This demonstrates our capability to provide safe, reliable and quality recycled water services fit for their intended purpose.
Our unique customer supportAt Ipswich Water we are strongly committed to quality customer service. While Recycled Water Management Plans are the responsibility of the user, we recognise there are inherent difficulties and complexities in their development. Ipswich Water is providing a high level of customer support through the preparation of Recycled Water (Use) Management Plan (RWMP) Templates for our customers. Our technical staff are also able to provide guidance in the elements of a compliant RWMP. What does the Recycled Water (Use) Management Plan cover?

This template provides a basis on which to develop a Recycled Water (Use) Management Plan for tankered recycled water supplies where no on-site infrastructure is involved. Any person or organisation making use of this template to prepare a Recycled Water (Use) Management Plan must ensure that all risk controls they deem necessary to protect public and environmental health are included in the Management Plan.
